Community Outreach Event 4:00pm – 5:30pm Houston Texans YMCA - This is the Lombardi committee’s way to involve at risk youth in the celebration.  The finalists promote messages about healthy lifestyles, staying in school and assist the children in various football drills.

Meet the Finalists Reception 6:00pm – 8:00pm Hilton Americans Houston – Informal and personal VIP event with the four finalists, former winners, and underwriters and sponsors.  Hors d’oeuvres and bar service provided.

Wednesday, December 8^th

Sports Media Breakfast 7:00am – 8:30am Hilton Americans Houston. – Finalists’ coaches, 2010 finalists, past winners and finalists, sponsors, and special guests will gather to chat with the members of the press in a relaxed atmosphere.

Hospital tours 9:00am – 11:30am Tours to visit the Front Line Kids of the Children’s Cancer wards of both Texas Children’s Hospital and M. D. Anderson Hospital. Capacity restraints limit this to top tier and invited sponsors only.

Lineman’s Private Reception 5pm – 7:00pm Location TBD. VIP Sponsors will be able to meet and take photos with the 2010 finalists. Only the top tier sponsors will be attending this event, which will consist of about 300 guests.  Heavy hors d’oeuvres and bar service provided.

Rotary Lombardi Awards Presentation 7:30pm – 9:30pm George R. Brown Convention Center.  The Rotary Lombardi Humanitarian Award will be presented and Rudy Ruettiger of Notre Dame and the famous movie depicting his life will be the guest speaker. The climax of the evening will be the presentation of the Rotary Lombardi Award to the 41^st recipient.
